What are Twitch Badges?
Usually, the twitch badges term is used to describe little icons that appear next to user names in chat, but there are numerous badge types that you can use on Twitch. Don’t get confused, here is a list of the main badge categories that will help you to easily distinguish them.

What are Sub Badges?
Twitch Subscriber Badges, also known as Sub Badges, are badges that streamers with affiliate or partner status can assign specifically to their subscribers. As subscribers accumulate time subscribed to the channel, they can reach milestones that are illustrated with different icons. So, the longer a person is subscribed to your channel, the more exclusive their badge looks.

What are Bit Badges?
When someone uses a certain amount of bits to cheer you on stream, they can receive a special badge near their nickname in your channel’s chat. The more bits someone gifts you, the more unique their bit badge will look. Take note that affiliates and partners can customize the badges with unique designs and titles starting with the 1 to 100 Bits Reward Tier and beyond.

What are Loyalty Badges?
Loyalty badges is another term for sub badges, so they’re basically the same icons near usernames of your subscribers in chat. The most exciting thing about them is that they offer your loyal community members the opportunity to level up and evolve over time. So the higher the quality of the badges, the greater the chance that your subscribers will stay with you to the next tier.
